Do you want to learn to code in JavaScript in 2022? You need good resources to learn it in a good way.

In 2022, the best content for learning something in the most efficient and enjoyable way is videos. And where can you find tons of free, high-quality, and JavaScript-related videos? The answer is obviously YouTube. You need to know the best channels to learn JavaScript. So, let’s start reviewing some great YouTube channels.

freeCodeCamp.org

I’m sure this is not the first time you’ve heard of this. It is a huge YouTube channel, with lots of effort and work put into it. It is full of tutorials, especially in the form of long videos (over 5 hours) that you can stop and move across as and when you prefer. It is really flexible and quite unique. It is really rich in content. In fact, it is harder to find some topics that it doesn't cover, than the covered ones.

There are videos with over 5 million views (the most viewed has over 30 million views). So, it is definitely trustable, and high in quality. And, all this is also free. In my opinion, the quality of these videos is even better than the majority of the paid courses I took in the past.

For JavaScript, there exist some full tutorial courses, from the beginner level to expert, and also more specific alternatives. There are specific courses that talk about frameworks or libraries, like the React one. I personally took the React course, so I suggest you do the same if you are interested.

The Net Ninja

Do you like a more informal way of learning? Then The Net Ninja is your choice. It is really complete, but also a bit lighter, and easier to understand. Their courses are sets of multiple videos, that are a succession on the same topics, starting from the beginning, and going on with the complexity. There are sets of videos also for niches of JavaScript programming concepts, like the Async one, with 11 videos on it.

It has incredible graphics, and also a frameworks tutorial. The Node crash course is absolutely great. I took it, and it has been a great choice. The only problem with this type of tutorial, which is divided into more videos, is that sometimes the YouTuber puts an intro and outro, making the tutorial a bit slower, dispersive, and less enjoyable. Anyway, this is a small personal opinion. Someone can prefer doing this type of learning.

So, for the richness of content and for quality, definitely suggested.

Conclusion to Part One

So, these are the channels that I suggest you check out if you want to learn JavaScript. I’m sure that they are absolutely valuable, and will help you a lot in learning this incredible programming language. Soon, part two of this article will follow.
